India : Saab bids to supply Indian Air Force with Gripen fighters

Saab AB said it has submitted its tender to the Indian Ministry of Defence to supply its Gripen fighter aircraft to the Indian Air Force.

India has asked for proposals to supply its air force with 126 Medium Multi-Role Combat Aircraft (MMRCA).

'The compliant proposal submitted today, demonstrates our commitment to winning the Indian government's MMRCA tender' said Saab's CEO Ake Svensson.
