A MiG-29 fighter jet has crashed during landing in Kecskemét (southcentral Hungary) on Thursday. The pilot managed to eject from the aircraft, a spokesman of the Ministry of Defense told local newswire MTI.
The accident took place shortly before 16:00 CET, István Bocskai said.
MTI learned from several sources that the pilot is alive and has been rushed to the infirmary.
